Christophe Cellier, M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Cellier is a gastroenterologist and hepatologist at Georges Pompidou European Hospital in Paris, specializing in disorders of the digestive system such as celiac disease, chronic stomach pain, intestinal obstructions, and liver diseases. He is also a professor at René Descartes University, the head of the Department of Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy, and a member of INSERM U 989 Research Unit in Intestinal Immunology in France. As a key figure in celiac disease research for over two decades, Dr. Cellier has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles and coordinates the French national network for patients with celiac disease complications such as refractory sprue and lymphoma. His research contributions focus on intraepithelial lymphocytes and celiac disease. As the President of the French Celiac Disease Study Group (GERMC) and former president of the French Digestive Endoscopy Society, Prof. Cellier continues to lead advancements in digestive health, celiac disease, and gastrointestinal research.
